The Wood Hollow Fire rages
INDIANOLA, Utah (AP) - Authorities say they found one person dead when they returned to an area evacuated for large a central Utah wildfire.

Sanpete County sheriff's officials say they haven't identified the body they found Tuesday morning.

The blaze is the first confirmed fatality in the Wood Hollow Fire that's burned more than 40,000 acres since Saturday and has consumed at least two dozen homes.

Officials shut down part U.S. 89 near Indianola Tuesday afternoon, hours after they said they were getting more control on the blaze.

An interagency fire spokeswoman says evacuation orders that were lifted in the morning may be reinstated if the fire jumps the highway.
