SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Cold air has moved into Utah Wednesday after a cold front passed through the state Tuesday night. Temperatures have struggled to make it to the mid 30s along the Wasatch Front Wednesday afternoon and will even get colder as the core of the cold air moves further south over Utah.
Expect very cold temperatures Wednesday night into Thursday morning with most of the state dropping into the single digits and teens as overnight lows. Salt Lake City is forecasted for a low of 14º F, Ogden will drop to 12º F, Provo 12º F, and Logan a chilly 6º F. The Uintah Basin will also see temperatures in the single digits as well as central and southern Utah.
High temperatures will be near 30º F in Salt Lake City Thursday and in the upper 20s or low 30s for much of the rest of the state.
While not nearly as cold as compared to the rest of the state, the St. George area will experience lows near 30º F and highs in the upper 40s.
