Utah gas prices jump 2 cents from last month

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah's average gas price is up 2 cents from last month, ranking the state 11th highest in the nation.


AAA says Utah's average price for a gallon of regular gasoline is now $3.72. That's 10 cents higher than a year ago.


According to AAA, Salt Lake City had the highest average price at $3.80 per gallon. St. George had the lowest at $3.69 per gallon.


The national average price is $3.54, 17 cents less than the national average at this time last year.


Wailuku, Hawaii, holds onto the nation's highest average price for regular, unleaded gasoline at $4.47 per gallon.
