MORGAN, Utah (AP) - Authorities in Utah have seized thousands of marijuana plants with an estimated value of $6.5 million from a remote area in Morgan County.

Agents say they've hauled out more than 3,200 plants from the site since it was discovered this week by a hunter, who reported seeing six people harvesting the plants.

An established campsite with stoves, sleeping bags and enough food for several weeks also was found at the site.

Authorities believe the operation is related to another marijuana grow uncovered Sept. 10 about a half-mile away. More than 1,200 plants with an estimated street value of $1.4 million were seized from that site.
