FAIRVIEW, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Two women were killed in a head-on collision near Fairview early Friday morning.
UHP troopers say it appears the driver of a Toyota Corolla was north bound going too fast for conditions and lost control on the icy road, going into the oncoming lane and colliding with a GMC Senoma pickup.
Both women inside the Toyota, 21-year-old Micah Mattie Edwards and 19-year-old Shilo Anne Edwards both from West Bountiful, died from their injuries.
A man and a woman inside the pickup were transported to a Provo hospital in critical condition.
