Summit County Sheriff arrests and books fire ban offender

COALVILLE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Summit County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an open bonfire on Echo Dam Road near Echo Reservoir late Friday night. Upon arriving, officials report they found several minors and an adult consuming alcoholic beverages while stoking an open bonfire.

The punishments should be fair to all that commits a crime. In this case the crimes or potential crimes these people did need to be taught to keep them and others from making such potently hazardous results. I would like to see all party goers have to train as local volunteer fire fighters. Having to do a job you might have caused may trigger common sense into these kids!

Why in the world are we asking this question!! What part of us living in a desert don't we understand! Setting an example of this situation will make the general public too terrified to even try it. It's nice to be nice but, if it's your lives/homes nice stops!!!! Nip the problem in the bud & get the word out this conduct won't be tolerated!!!!
