EMERY, Utah (AP) - A small earthquake shook parts of central Utah but no damage was reported.

The magnitude 3.2 quake hit around 6:22 a.m. Friday. The U.S. Geological Survey says the temblor struck about nine miles northwest of Emery and 19 miles southeast of Mayfield.

Officials at the University of Utah seismograph stations say they have not heard any reports from anyone who felt the quake.

The Emery County sheriff's office also says it hasn't received any calls.
