SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The Salt Lake County Sheriff said a marital dispute ended with a man being tackled to the ground after he fired 10 rounds at his wife whom he only hit once in the leg.
The dispute took place between a 58-year-old man and his 55-year-old wife in their home. The Salt Lake County Sheriff said the wife tried to leave and the husband fired 10 rounds from a 45 caliber pistol. She was struck once in the leg. The security guard waited for the bullets to run out, then tackled man and waited for police.
The Salt Lake County Sheriff said the man appears to have mental issues, or possibly was intoxicated, and after he is medically assessed he will be arrested.
