OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Utah Department of Transportation reports traffic on eastbound I-84 reduced to one lane due to a roll-over of a semi-truck late Saturday afternoon.
The semi-truck rolled over on I-84 shortly after its split with I-15 at the bridge over South Bound I-15 in Riverdale, losing its load of onions. The rollover has closed EB I-84 at this point since approximately 3:45 p.m.
This section of I-84 has now been opened to one lane, though it may betemporarily closed again within the next hour when efforts are made toright the semi's trailer and remove it from the area. Eastbound I-84traffic can detour around this area during that closure by divertingoff SB I-15 at 31st Street east to SR-204/Wall Avenue, and following itsouth to SR-26/Riverdale Road. From that point motorists can proceedwest to the I-84 Interchange with SR-26, and resume their eastboundtravel.
It is expected that all lanes of traffic on I-84EB will be restored by approximately 10:45 p.m.
