TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC 4 NEWS) - A scary situation for some Taylorsville residents. According to police, around 12:50am 3 men armed with a sawed off shotgun knocked on the door of a home located at 6150 S. Don Quixote Dr. When the man inside opened the door they forced their way in.
Once they made entry they took the man downstairs where a woman and her 2 children live. One suspect held the group at gunpoint while the other 2 men ransacked the home.
The intruders got what they wanted and took off. Police aren't sure if they had a get away car or left on foot. They were wearing gloves so cops were unable to get fingerprints.
The suspects are described as a short hispanic male about 5 foot tall with a mustache, he's the one who held the victims at gunpoint. Next is an african american male, the victims say he was about 6 foot 4 inches tall weighing around 250 pounds. They didn't get a good look at the third suspect but think he's either a hispanic or black male.
Police say the homeowners don't know who the men are or why they targeted their house.
