Payson P.D. investigating homicide

PAYSON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Keenan Thompson who is 25-years-old from Spanish Fork is accused of stabbing and killing 36-year-old William Wright at his home Wednesday morning.

ABC 4 has learned that a 911 call came in at 3:48 a.m. of an auto pedestrian accident.  Payson Police arrived at the scene to instead find an individual stabbed twice. Investigators learned there had been a party at 700 East and 644 North with adults in attendance.  An argument ensued when the homeowner wouldn't allow a 15-year-old to have any alcohol.

The teenager left and later returned with Thompson who is his cousin.
