Parowan man faces child sex charges

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police say a 21-year-old Parowan man faces child sex charges following an investigation in southern Utah.
Police say Dillon Arthur Rogerson was arrested on Thursday after the victim's father contacted police.
According to police, the victim's father provided some initial information. After a Children's Justice Center interview, investigators got more details from the child concerning the incident that took place in August.
Police say the victim and the suspect are not related, and that they don't believe there are any other victims.
Neighbors told investigators the victim's family and the suspect lived in the same neighborhood.
Rogerson was charged in Utah 5th District Court with 3rd Degree Felony Unlawful Sexual Activity with a Minor.
He was arraigned in court on Friday. A preliminary hearing was set for December 12.
