SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A new charge has been added for a man accused of three DUIs in three days.
Daniel Max Kropf was only facing a class-B misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, but now, prosecutors say new information has allowed them to add the charge of possession of a controlled substance, within 1,000 feet of a drug free zone, which is a second-degree felony.
With the addition of this felony charge, the original misdemeanor charge against Kropf has been dismissed in order to prosecute him for the new charge.
A preliminary hearing for this case has been set for November 21st.
