Man sentenced for fatal deputy shooting

KANE COUNTY, UTAH (ABC4 News) - Scott Curley, the man awaiting sentencing for the 2010 fatal shooting of a Kane County Deputy, was before a Judge today November 20.

According to Kane County Curley has received a sentence of life in prison with the chance of parole in twenty-five years.

He was also sentenced to an additional twelve years for other charges. This time will run consecutive with his sentencing for the shooting.

With time served Curley is looking at thirty-five years before a chance of parole.
