PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man was robbed at knife point in a hotel room for $14 and some beer on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, a 39-year-old man reported that the robbery took place in his hotel room at the Amenity Inn located at 48 West 300 South.
Police say the victim met 26-year-old Kellie Anderson of Provo, and 44-year-old Cheyenne Labrum of Provo the previous day.
Police say the victim claims the pair returned to his hotel room, threatened him with a knife, and demanded his money.
After giving them the $14 he had in his pocket, police say the suspects backed the victim into a corner with the knife while the second individual took beer from the refrigerator.
According to police, Cheyenne Labrum then cut the telephone cord to prevent the victim from calling the police for help and a took a lamp cord.
Police say officers located Kellie Anderson and Cheyenne Labrum shortly afterward and found that Cheyenne had an end to a lamp cord in his possession.
After an investigation, police say officers arrested Cheyenne and Kellie and booked Cheyenne into the Utah County Jail for aggravated robbery, criminal mischief, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kellie Anderson was booked for robbery.
Police say that according to the jail logs, this is the 66th time Cheyenne Labrum has been booked into the Utah County Jail.
