MANTI, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Sanpete County Sheriff's investigators say a Hispanic male was seen in a hay field between Mayfield and Gunnison.
Sheriff's office investigators say a man found the victim while riding on his tractor on Sunday and called 911.
Police say the victim's wrists were tied together and he was gagged with a piece of cloth tied around his head and through his mouth. He was also covered in blood.
Sanpete County officials say the victim is also the Hispanic man and was taken to the Gunnison Valley Hospital and then later he was flown by helicopter to a Wasatch Front hospital.
The victim's name was not released. He was listed in stable condition on Monday.
