MAGNA, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man robbed a Magna bank Monday morning.
According to Unified Police, the robbery took place at the Wells Fargo Bank on 8295 West 3500 South when the suspect entered the Magna at about 11:00 a.m.
Police say the suspect entered the credit union, approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. In the note, police say the suspected threatened that he had a weapon, although no weapon was displayed.
Police say the clerk complied and gave him an undisclosed amount of cash, which the suspect took before fleeing on foot.
Officers were unable to find the suspect after conducting a search.
No one was injured during the robbery, according to police.
The suspect was described as a Caucasian male, 50-60 years old, 6’0”-6’2”, 200 lbs., dark rimmed prescription glasses with a chain that hangs off the side, and a black “Harper” hoodie style sweat shirt.
