LOGAN, Utah (AP) - The Logan Municipal Council has repealed a law that restricted the sale of beer at city retail stores on Sundays.
The council on Tuesday approved an ordinance that deletes a portion of the city code that deals with Sunday beer sales.
Two other Cache Valley communities, Nibley and Hyrum, already have voted to allow beer sales seven days a week.
Several Logan business owners have requested the change, including Mooch Spackman, who says stores just a couple miles down the road are packed with customers on Sundays while he has a hard time making sales.
