SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Fireworks stands are open for business, and let the celebration begin.
Wednesday is the first day to legally set off fireworks in Utah. And authorities are reminding you to be careful when handling fireworks and to know the restrictions in your area.
All fireworks that explode over 15 feet in the air are illegal as well as whistlers, roman candles, and firecrackers.
And remember, even though we've had a lot of rain, fireworks can still cause brush fires.
You can legally set off fireworks until July 7th.
