SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff says his office has received results of a Department of Workforce Services investigtation into the creation of a list of purported illegal immigrants.

Shurtleff's office says their criminal investigation into the list alleged illegal immigrants has begun.

“Our investigation will be thorough and swift,” says Attorney General Mark Shurtleff. “If there is evidence of wrongdoing, we will pursue the appropriate action.”

Shutleff's office said that any information on the case will be provided at the conclusion of the investigation.

The names of the two women believed responsible for the list have been terminated from the Utah DWS.

Their names have not yet been released.

On Tuesday, Governor Gary Herbert said the women methodically lifted names and personal information fro individuals the women claimed were in the U.S. illegally.

The list was shared with several law enforcement officials and Utah media outlets, including ABC 4 News.

i'd like to shake these women's hands and take them out to dinner. i would deport illegals and give their hoiusing to the 1600 homeless veterans that utah doesn't care about.when i was a trucker i would go to laredo,tx and all i would hear is how much they hate americans and are going to take our jobs and go home. this happened every time i went to Laredo. So send them home.they think we owe them and we don't. deport all of the illegals

I will be so happy if these people (and I use the term lightly) are prosecuted for their breach of privacy codes, and the fearmongering they have practiced. Most of the information was false anyway, and as was mentioned on radio from hell this morning, some of the people who are illegal, and have done nothing wrong except for trying to provide for their family have fled, fearing deportation. Really great people, now families are being split up. So much for this being a family state, but I guess that's only if it's a straight, white, churchgoing family, right?

Well its not a suprise that our own officials can get away with Treason. {Look up the definition of Treason}. Shurtleff, Herbert, Burbank are all giving into Illegal immigration. To bad no one will call them on the oath they took when they were sworn into office. So much for the sentence, "protect my country from threats to America, foreign and domestic. Herbert and his gang have no spine. I can't wait til they are voted out.
