Maverick, I was making an observation. I haven't berated the driver for not looking twice for a motorcyclist. That would be negative. No matter who is at fault, always look for motorized/non motorized two wheelers that share your roads. It's fantastic the kid lived and in no small part was is due to these people.

It appears that the man in the suit was the BMW driver, who could have been in shock . . . we don't know the whole story, and it happened less than a mile from my home so I've followed it closely. And yes, there were women helping, and evidently a woman filming and encouraging the rescuers, too. I'm proud of my community! There were Utah State University Students, construction workers, and others who stopped. They have my complete admiration.

The fat guy in the suit doing nothing is the guy that ran him over. Just type in John Johnson at University of Utah and his picture pops up. I think he's even wearing the same suit.

Pathetic...how pathetic are some of the comments here? Instead of reveling in the unselfish act of strangers, some people have to look for something negative to say. I have watched the video several times and cannot make a clear distinction of the gender of all of the people who risked their lives to help a stranger. Sure there are two people with hair that could either be long-haired guys or short-haired girls. Did the reporter exclude some gender with the comment "a group of men"? Possibly. Did the reporter correct themselves with a non gender biased comment of "a group of strangers"? How about the second line that simply says "Good Samaritans jumped into action"? Get over yourselves and your hurt feelings. How many of you would have done the same? Take it from someone who has actually entered a burning vehicle, it takes more than keyboard bravado to put your life at risk for a total stranger.

The story found someone to interview, but I would really like to hear from the young woman who came forward from the start and helped direct the effort. She looked twice under the car and then helped lift right where the motorcylist was and very near the flames. What a brave young person with a big heart. Bless you!

Amazing act of bravery and teamwork! Yeah the man in the suit was useless, and although the cop didn't lend his apparent size and strength to the effort, it appears he at least wanted to. Again, everyone who helped save that man's life has my admiration.

Definitely at least one woman, too. And yeah, hope that useless suit gets all the shame he deserves for not lifting a finer to help.

You can clearly see a woman also pushing to lift the car, so it's not all 'men.' And it appears the driver of the car (in a suit), just casually stands there while others rush to aide the motorcyclist.
