Story is badly flawed--the Human society didn’t take this bird in and can't care for wildlife—it is against the law. This Bald Eagle as with ALL wildlife in Northern Utah and surrounding states is sent to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Northern Utah, a nonprofit licensed facility with no state or federal support--only keeps its doors open by receiving tax deductible donations from private citizens and businesses. www.wrcnu.org PLEASE ABC4 correct your HUGE mistake and make note of the fact that this eagle is costing this fledgling organization hundreds of dollars to rescue and thousands should it be lucky enough to survive. Thank you.
