Fire wipes out Lindon business

Lindon, Utah (ABC 4 News)- Lindon fire crews responded to Patches Majestic Metals at 475 north state street in Lindon just after four this morning. The fire gutted the building and crews had to pull down the building to completely extinguish the fire.
Patches Majestic Metals was no longer working in the building destroyed, they had leased out the property. Furniture and boxes were being stored while work was being done to remodel the building.
It is unknown what may have started the fire, but investigators are looking into the cause.
Two homes were evacuated because of the fire, one of the homes connected to the building was destroyed. There were no injuries and the American Red Cross was helping assist the family who lost their home.
Power was turned off to the area while crews worked on the fire, it was expected the power would be restored before the end of the day Wednesday.
