SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Thousands are fans are expected to hit theaters Thursday night for the premiere of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I.'

Larry H. Miller Megaplex theaters have broken national records for attendace at past Twilight premieres and they expect Thursday night's showing to be an even bigger turnout.  At least 20-thousand fans are expected to attend the movie at all six Megaplex Utah theatres.

The movie depicts part one of the final book in the Twilight series and focuses on the relationship between the main characters, Edward and Bella.  It comes complete with a wedding, a honeymoon scene, and even the birth of a child.  That honeymoon scene is raising some eyebrows though. Producers had to edit it down to take the MPAA rating from R to PG-13.

"I'm not gonna lie. I'm waiting for the sex scene. It will definitely add to the romance," says movie-goer Makenna White.

Several Megaplex theatres are holding VIP parties at nine o'clock, prior to the showing.  One party in particular will be called "Honeymoon in Rio" and will be held at the Jordan Commons Complex.  Over 300 guests paid 35 dollars to attend the Jordan Commons VIP party and it comes with food, a gift bag, a movie ticket, and popcorn.

Some tickets are available still, but are selling out quickly. The movie premiere will be shown in all 17 theatres at the Jordan Commons Megaplex.
