DUGWAY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – 120 students at Dugway High School were forced into lockdown on Thursday after the school received a threatening email.

Dugway police say the email warned of a violent or deadly attack either Thursday or Friday.

District officials did not believe it was serious enough to evacuate the high school, but the lockdown meant access was limited to the front entrance only, and everyone going in was searched for unauthorized weapons.

The superintendant says the threat is now resolved, but that's all he will say for now.

If you have students in the area and have any questions, call 435-831-2000.
