I just read this story on MSN. There were also examples of this happening @ other schools across the nation. Why isn't it a requirement that administrators read the scripts BEFORE any preparation is made to produce the play? It costs alot of money to acquire the rights to these plays. This was all regarding one song in the play, but, because of the copyright, no alterations can be made, so the whole play has to be cancelled. What a waste!
