TOOELE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Tooele County Sheriff's Office is asking Tooele County residents to stay home and avoid driving towards Salt Lake City Saturday night.
Temperatures below zero along with the fresh snowfall are causing roads to become extremely slick.
Deputies have reported multiple car accidents, some with injuries on and near I-80 as a result of the slick roads.
Eastbound I-80 is reduced to one lane at mile marker 99 near Lake Point until further notice.
People who must be on the roads should use extreme caution and slow down.
