CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) - Fire crews are working to contain a blaze that started with a bolt of lightning earlier this week in a remote area of southern Utah.
Officials say firefighters are trying to confine the Toddler Wildfire within a 200-acre area. It's burned about 25 acres since it started Monday in the Dixie National Forest near the tiny town of Henrieville.
The fire is fueled by brush, needle litter, and some ponderosa pine debris.
Smoke from the wildfire is visible from Highway 12 in the Upper Valley area. Officials expect smoke in the area for several days because of wind conditions.
Crews from Escalante, Cedar City, and Panguitch are working the blaze.
