DRAPER, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Having a child with a life-threatening disease can be devastating-- having one with mounting medical bills around the holidays is even tougher.

But thanks to one Utah organization Christmas for those families this year will be a little brighter.

On Saturday, Children and the Earth held a Breakfast with Santa fundraiser to help more than 100 sick children and their families with medical bills.

Most of the families that we’re helping, they have a sick parent or a sick child which affects the whole family,” said Amber Brosig, managing trustee of Children and the Earth. “If mom can't work because she has a child who is sick or she's sick, it doesn't just affect one it affects the whole family and all the siblings. We come in and take care of the entire family for Christmas.”
