SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a bill in honor of former Utah congressman Bill Orton who died earlier this year in an ATV accident.

The bill is aimed at boosting funding for the Law Library of Congress.

Representatives Jim Matheson, Rob Bishop, and Jason Chaffetz all supported the bill which passed with a 383-44 vote.

The proposal would change the Library's name to the National Law Library and provide a half million dollars to help reduce a backlog of books that haven't been cataloged.
