I'm big bird!The manager at Spirit Halloween store in Jordan Landing said, "At first we couldn't get rid of them, and then Mitt Romney opened up his mouth. Now, they are the hot costume."
Most costume stores we called did not have big bird costumes, but they are planning to order some with the new popularity. Some people are resorting to making their own big bird costume, with help from instructions online. But not everyone is swayed by this trend.
Don said, "I'm not a Big bird fan, I'm more Oscar the Grouch."
One woman shopping for a costume said, "I think it's funny and relevant. I wouldn't want my husband to be Big Bird, or me for that matter. But go for it!"
