On December 8th, "Marcus" asked to have his comments left beneath stories relating to this issue at: http://stgeorgeutah.com removed, after several people within our community intelligently exposed facts. I hope the media will review the information from some of those comments, along with the history of various legislation dating back to 2010 on this issue as it pertains to the State of Utah and the Bureau of Emergency Management Services. The truth is far deeper than an "ambulance war," as is being reported. The truth will expose this issue as one involving "back door" politics, greed and the unethical behaviors of elected officials, especially at our state level. Genuine truth-seekers who expose facts and have no self-serving motives, will not leave comments anonymously, especially vicious and hurtful comments. Genuine truth-seekers are proud to stand up for what is right and will always reveal their true identity. Sincerely, Pamala Englert

Hello everyone out there. I am so amazed to see this article on so many different news feeds. So it is important to share that though there was a public meeting or forum for the citizens of Saint George to comment on Dixie Ambulance as this article suggests... only a few citizens really even knew about it. Those 200 or so individuals who actually showed up to the public hearing were friends, family, co-workers, share-holders, officers, neighbors and employees of Dixie Ambulance. Mike and Tony did a great job getting them all to the public forum. Now, unfortunately, the media is picking up on this forum event that happened a couple days ago and jumping to the conclusion that the citizens of Saint George are "rallying" around Dixie Ambulance. Well, I am trying to advocate for the voices of those citizens in Saint George who truly do want to see Dixie Ambulance's license revoked and stand waiting with open arms for Gold Cross to advance EMS services for our awsome community. The truth is, many are afraid to voice their concerns for fear of retribution from Dixie Ambulance owners and staff. Many IHC employees and doctors at the Dixie Regional Medical Center have had very poor experiences with Dixie Ambulance but are afraid to speak up because of how they have been treated by Dixie Ambulance employees and owners. I am not an IHC employee- but I know many who are. I also know doctors at the hospital. So I am jumping out there- to take a risk and tell the TRUTH.
