Paul Murphy should be fired for gross incompetence and dereliction of duty! Compared to his self-evident bureaucratic blunders, Brooklyn's abductor could be given an award for her safe return -- THREE DAYS AFTER THE FACT OF HER ABDUCTION! If her case typifies the very essence for which the Amber Alert system was created in the first place, then what is all this about a heretofore unknown "Endanger[ed] Missing Advisory" system in lieu of it? The Amber Alert system has proven its effectiveness in prior cases of child abduction, as Murphy readily acknowledges. But as its "coordinator" who failed miserably to implement it in a TIMELY fashion in Brooklyn's case, he should be sent packing forthwith and without further delay. THAT would truly be awesome! And ABC4 News really needs to fix this comment section so the article to which it pertains can be more easily referred to during that process. End of rant.
