SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Utah's AMBER Alert will now get information of a missing child out faster than ever before.
The Utah AMBER Alert Program will begin using new technology to send AMBER Alerts faster and more efficiently by email and text.
The new LEAP program allows dispatchers to quickly generate the alerts with the information about the child and potential suspect within minutes and sending out that information just as fast.
