12 Injured on Moab boat tour

MOAB, Utah (ABC 4 News) - 12 people were rescued off a tour boat on the Colorado River Monday night. 

Witnesses Say there were up to 30 people on the tour boat. 

The Grand County Sheriffs office was on the scene confirmed that a tour boat had become stranded on a sand bar and that some people were injured when the boat's driver tried to loosen the craft.

Witnesses say the crash occurred near the town of Potash in Gold Bar Canyon on the river.

Some people were treated for scrapes and bruises, while one person suffered a broken leg.
