West Jordan Credit Union Robbed At Gunpoint

WEST JORDAN (ABC 4 News) - A Mountain America Credit Union was robbed on Wednesday by two men wearing masks -- and one of them waving a gun -- authorities said.
The bandits walked into the Mountain America branch, located at 6761 South Redwood Road, just after 11:00 am on Wednesday. According to authorities, both men wore hooded sweatshirts and masks to conceal their identity. One of the men wore all black, while the other was dressed partially in camoflauge.
Officials say one man displayed the handgun while the other approached a teller and demanded cash. The employee handed over some cash and the men left. Exactly how much money the bandits got away with was not revealed.
No one was hurt during the robbery. Anyone with information about the robbery is being asked to contact West Jordan Police at (801) 840-4000.
