Family and friends mourn the loss of a loved one (ABC 4 News)
PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Marco Sanchez was finally laid to rest on Monday because an ABC 4 viewer donated money for the services.

The unexpected news of their loved one’s death, left the Sanchez family unable to finance a funeral.

While Sanchez’z body lay at a Taylorsville funeral home, his family held car washes throughout last week in an effort to raise enough money cover the funeral costs, but still came up short.

That’s when an ABC 4 viewer, who wishes to remain anonymous, volunteered to pay the remaining balance.

The viewer said that he buried a child himself and could not bear to see the family anguish over funeral expenses.

He also offered to give extra for flowers and incidentals.

The family expressed great gratitude to everyone who helped them with the service.

A family friend has stepped up to pay for the tombstone.
