SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Marriage proposals come in all shapes and forms these days, and one Utah man took his “big question” underwater in Sandy.
Vincent Jensen used an underwater diver to pop the question at the Salt Lake Aquarium on Wednesday, as his girlfriend Haley Dennis watched.
Jensen is an avid diver and decided to incorporate his favorite hobby into his marriage proposal.
So, did it work?
“Absolutely yes! He's the man of my dreams!” said Jensen’s new fiancé.
A diver used a picture of Haley with a blue tongue as an inside joke, as the couple watched from inside the viewing area, and Jensen went down on one knee, displaying an engagement ring.
He said the first time they met, she was eating blue candy.
Jensen and Dennis’ families were there to witness the unusual proposal.
