SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Two teens were honored today for giving more than a combined 200 hours of volunteer work.
They are Utah's top volunteers: 13-year old Amber Barron from Riverton and 14-year old Carlos Vinatea from West Jordan.
"I
t was tough but it was fun and I would do it again," said Vinatea."I think it's fun to volunteer in our community," said Barron. "And I think if you help others you'll have more experience."
Today, Utah's Lieutenant Governor awarded them the Presidential Service Award for contributing the highest number of hours of service this summer.
