Update: Civil Union bill passed to Illinois House

(ABC 4 News) - Another state could soon have civil unions for same sex couples.
Yesterday ABC 4 broke the story about an LDS bishop in Nauvoo, Illinois who sent his entire congregation an e-mail warning them about the dangers of the proposed civil union bill.
Today the bill was approved by a committee and sent to the full Illinois House.
The bill is scheduled to be heard in the House on Tuesday. We’ll let you know what happens.
