UPDATE: Riverton worker recovering from electric shock

RIVERTON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A worker at the Riverton City Water Department was injured by an electric shock near 13400 South 2289 West on Thursday.

But his condition today is improving after getting shocked with 480 volts of electricity.

The 22-year-old victim is a sub contractor who was working on a pump house where some wire was exposed.

He was flown by helicopter to the University of Utah Medical Center in critical condition Thursday.

He is expected to make a full recovery.
