WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) – Two women are behind bars on child abuse charges after they allegedly used duct tape and hot sauce to punish a teenage boy.

Robin Rumsey and Krista Miller of West Valley City were arrested on Tuesday after a 6-month investigation.

Sergeant Jason Hauer with West Valley City Police said the allegedly abuse occurred over a period of two years.

Hauer said a 14-year-old boy told police his mother, Rumsey, and her friend, Miller, used duct tape to restrict the movement of his arms and legs and then carried him to the basement until the owner of the home set him free.

In another instance, the boy was forced to the ground where there were broken glass pieces. The boy said Miller poured Tobasco sauce on his eyes and face.

Police said the women also forced the boy to use marijuana and alcohol and exposed the teen to pornography.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests may come.

The Division of Child and Family Services is assisting in the case.

This is horrific and these woman are just no good!!! Yeah kids make up stories but not to this extent, It breaks my heart because I have a little boy who is almost 11 yrs old and yes he tests my nerves but it's all about how you deal with childerns behaivor. Mostly it's about just loving them and to never do what these woman did and everyone else involved.I believe there are more people who knew what was going on those people also be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, just as the mother and her friend. Shame on both you woman. May God save your soul and Karma bight you where the sun don't shine!!!
