COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah. (ABC 4 News). A Cottonwood Heights resident was arrested in Illinois, early Monday.
The suspect was stopped on a traffic violation, and police discovered a substantial amount of packaged drugs in his car.
He admitted to police that he was also growing Marijuana in his Cottonwood Heights home.
Police officers from Cottonwood Heights procured a search warrant and entered the home on 7960 E Willow Stream Dr, around 3 pm. There, the police found 2-3 dozen mature plants, as well as a nursery that was flourishing in the suspect’s home.
A large amount of cash was also found.
The suspect remains in Illinois as the investigation continues.
