SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Thunderstorms have developed across the entire state of Utah Friday afternoon. The strongest have developed in the southern and eastern parts of the state prompting a Flash Flood Watch from the National Weather Service until late Friday night for the eastern third of Utah.
The greatest potential for the Wasatch Front are the thunderstorms developing in the western deserts, along the western edge of the Great Salt Lake, and in the Tooele Valley. Though most have been weak, these storms indicate a unsettled atmosphere where new, stronger, and more severe thunderstorms could develop and drift into the metro areas of the Wasatch Front.
