SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - UTA officials say a TRAX train has derailed in downtown Salt Lake City, causing major delays.
UTA officials say a pickup truck running west bound on 900 South 200 West ran a red light, hitting a TRAX train, derailing it onto the platform. There were no injuries reported.
Officials hoped to get the trains up an running within an hour.
In the meantime, bus bridges were used to keep commuters moving.
By late Monday evening, trains were moving again at "walking pace" through the area.
