PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A man accused of shooting his brother in-law to death made his first appearance in court today.
Police say 54-year old Stephen Strate shot his brother in law during an argument, then called 911 where he admitted the shooting.
Today Strate heard the murder charge read against him in court.
His lawyer then asked for his bond to be reduced. Strate is already out of jail on a 1-million dollar bond.
A new court date was set for the beginning of December.
