Salt Lake County man faces child pornography charges

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police say a Salt Lake County man was arrested and faces several charges related to the production and distribution of child pornography.
According to a probable cause statement filed by Unified Police, John Christopher Ogden was arrested and booked following a tip given to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security that was received on December 4.
Police say Ogden was arrested on December 7 at his home in Salt Lake County without incident.
Upon serving a search warrant at Ogden's home, police say investigators discovered several digital images of child porn.
Police say Ogden also confessed to creating and distributing the child porn images.
Ogden also faces a possible drug possession charge after investigators found a substance believed to be marijuana in the home.
