Salt Lake City hostage situation ends

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4) - A hostage situation in Salt Lake City has ended, with one man in custody.

Police were called to 1225 Windsor Avenue Thursday morning. Salt Lake City Police tell ABC 4 this started as a fight between Richard Hudson and his girlfriend.  She got away and called police.  When police arrived to the home, Hudson would not leave and held his girlfriend's daughter as hostage.

Salt Lake Police were able to negotiate with the suspect, He was tasered and taken into custody. The hostage was released unharmed.
