SLC man dies from Tuesday house fire

Mr Newsome was my neighbor. The picture with this story was probably taken from my front lawn. He will be missed sorely in this neighborhood! He was a friend to all, and watched out for us all. He used to be our postman, as well. He helped all of us at one time or another with home maintenance, painting, and even good advice on many subjects. He was a close family friend, and a support to my Dad. We visited him and his late wife (and kids, who were our friends) frequently, even went camping and fishing together. Our neighborhood will not be the same, any more.
