PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Should a bridge be built across Utah lake? That's the question that was debated at a public hearing Thursday night. The Utah Lake Commision heard from the public at the Utah County Health and Justice Building in Provo. "It scares me to think of the changes and the building on that lake," said Clay Chivers, a Lehi resident who attended the meeting. "For my children and my grandchildren, it won't be there like it was for me." But officials say, even after public input, they'll still base their decision on science and the "best use of lake resources." The proposed bridge would span from Saratoga Springs to the 800 North exit of I-15 in Orem.
